Here in Cleveland, we’re still enjoying weather in the ’70’s. It’s been fantastic! I had a great walk in Chagrin Falls today among the sunshine, green trees and waterfalls. I also met a friend there for a talk and book signing by Mike Belkin. He and his brother, Jules, headed Belkin Productions, the hottest rock concert promotion company in this area in the 1970’s, 80’s, 90’s and beyond. Great to talk with Mike about the World Series of Rock show’s I saw at Cleveland Stadium and to hear about when he brought Jimi Hendrix to Cleveland on his first tour. I’m looking forward to reading the book.
In addition to our Sam Hooper Group (6-piece) show at Bop Stop on Nov., 11th., I’m also excited about the Blues vs Opiods benefit we’re playing with several other bands at Beachland Ballroom on December 3rd. See the Shows page for details.
